Today was some of the worst damage we saw. We worked with chainsaws and chopping down trees in the morning. After completing that we went on to sift through ruble to try and find items for the owner. He just lost his wife a few weeks ago and now his house. How heartbreaking, but we found a jewelry box and some other items. I pray they put a smile on his face.

Today is day 2 of tornado relief efforts. It was such a blessing to spend the day with my father-in-law Pat and help people.
We drove to Newalla, Oklahoma where there was a lot of tornado damage. We met Brent and Esther. The guys were incredible workers today! Here is a quick video update.

Through your donations we blessed LeighAnn and her family with clothes, a generator, small fridge and a ton of other things. We brought the family to Walmart and gave everyone a cart and said get what you need. I made sure the kids picked out their favorite toy also 🙂 I shot this interview just before my iPhone ran out of storage. Thank you for your donations!

There were a few people asking about what the Moore Oklahoma Tornado Relief Ministry funds are going to so I made this quick video. Bottom line we are bypassing the redtape of a non-profit and giving direct to the people in need what is needed. Donate by clicking below.

Moore Oklahoma Tornado Relief Update: Haylee, myself and the kids are leaving for Edmond, Oklahoma this morning. We stayed with good friends Russ and Liana in Memphis and are about 8 hours away from Moore…make that 11 hours with the kids! We got delayed about a day, but should be to Oklahoma by tonight. You can pray for our safe arrival. I’ve been in contact with the chief of the Moore Fire Department whose name is Gary Bird. Gary’s son Jeremy and I grew up together and we worshiped together at Southern Oaks church of Christ. Moore is very lucky to have Gary as their chief. He said that the search and rescue is done and they are beginning cleanup soon. I texted with a good friend Chellie Mills last night who works for news channel 4. She directed me to Bethel Acres, Oklahoma as she heard they could use more assistance. Right now we are in contact will multiple ministries and will be working with many I’m sure of in the Moore and Bethel Acres areas. I thank you all for your prayers, love and support. I will post as I’m able. Again, thank you. If you are willing and able to donate click below. These funds will be used directly for the people of Oklahoma. This tornado is a tragedy, but God can make great things come from bad.
Blessings,
